Sorry it has been so long...
A lot has happened in the last two weeks but the news today is not great. Bush has finally found a way to start a war with Iran. We fired on an Iranian vessel this morning and if the Bush bunch is as predictable as they have been in the past, we are on our way to a full scale war.
More on that later...

Cats at the Hult and CATS-22 at OPUS6IX
Interesting day: people from Portland came in after a drive through the wineries and wanted to know why the other galleries were not open. They ended up buying some large work and some ceramics. They could have found both artists they bought in Portland but we were open...
CATS was at the Hult and we had scads of people looking for stuff to do before the show so we were busy.
I know it is hard to be open on Sunday but if we are going to become a destination for tourists we have to make that happen.

Back from a much needed vacation!
So much news...Fenton and Lee is closing, Misako has changed hands and want s to expand, the Register Guard can't seem to figure out that we have a Gallery District that has things to do, and much much more.
OPUS6IX is showing some of Bill Mitchels's collection including a Frank Boyden platter, new shows abound around the district, and we can expect some good tourism news as the signs for the Eugene Gallery & Arts District move forward.
More later.
